Eliza Vedar (She/They) is a multifaceted sound designer, composer, music director, and pianist. Eliza’s original music, arrangements, and sound designs have been featured in theatrical productions throughout the San Diego area with companies such as: La Jolla Playhouse, TuYo Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, Moxie Theatre, Cygnet Theatre, New Village Arts, Common Ground Theatre. As well as various educational institutions including: San Diego State University, CSU San Marcos, and University of San Diego.

They were Artist in Residence at CSU San Marcos Theatre Arts for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Eliza is part of the musical theatre writing duo "VegaVedar" with Mario Vega. They've written three musicals during their undergrad all performed and produced by SDSU's Teatro Azteca. They're currently working on their fourth musical "DayDreamer".

Eliza Vedar holds a Bachelors degree in Music Performance: Piano from San Diego State University.
